Noble Heritage (Age -??)
>>The Jenkins family resided in the middle hive's house of nobles, retaining moderate wealth from a series
of factories and trading posts. They were known to stand against gang activity, which earned the family
many more enemies than allies.
Attacks (Age -40)
>>The Jenkins Estate and the family's other properties was subject to several terrorist attacks. The
attackers were thought to be a coalition of gangs acting against the noble intentions of the Jenkins
family. The attacks would continue for years, despite retaliation from Jenkins family members.
Disgrace (Age -25)
>>Several of the other noble houses, those more friendly with the local gangs, conspired to disgrace the
Jenkins family. Whilst the Jenkins were petitioning for police action against the gangs, the other houses
bribed trade post merchants to stock illegal drugs and factory workers to produce illegal weapons. An
investigation was then called on the Jenkins, and a multitude of charges placed. The Jenkins had few allies
at this point, and were forced to pay massive fines as well as suffer excommunication from the noble
circle. Flintlocke's mother and father were born into this turmoil.
Exodus (Age -20)
>>With their spotless reputation tarnished in the public eye, the Jenkins family slowly dispersed;
many were hunted down by grudge-bearing gangers, and others went into deep hiding.
A New Home (Age -15)
>>Flintlocke's parents, unable to find work or purpose, move into a harsh life of scouring for
survival in the underhive. They move from settlement to settlement, careful to hide their
noble origins.
Birth (Age 0)
>>Flintlocke was born into a rundown patchwork of a household in the underhive.
Mother's Disappearance (Age 3)
>>His mother went to trade at the settlement one day, and simply disappeared. Her fate is unknown,
though his father would later place the blame on gangers to instill in him a hatred of their kind.
Vindication (Age 9)
>>Flintlocke is given his first gun, coincidentally a flintlocke pistol. One night, with anger in his
heart over his mother, he snuck out of his home. He shot and killed a lone ganger who
had been scavenging the rubble nearby.
The Hunt (Age 13)
>>A massive boar began prowling around Flintlocke's home. He and his father hunted the beast,
often firing on and wounding it before retreating to the safety of the shadows. They were finally
caught in a confrontation, and slayed the beast. His father would begin crafting the hide of it
into a set of armor.
Father's Abduction (Age 17)
>> ERROR:: Restricted.
Deals (Age 19)
>>On returning home one night, Flintlocke finds a data-slate in his home. The contents convince him
to meet an individual of no weak purpose.
[?] (Age <omitted>)
>> ERROR:: Entry expunged.
Assignment 3036c (Age 22)
>> Several dangerous gangs are tracked down and eliminated by local Arbites thanks to Inquisitorial aid.
Relocation (Age 23)
>> Flintlocke manages passage to Sector <EXP>, establishing temporary residence in a settlement.
Assignment (Age 26 -2 months)
>> New assignment issued. ERROR:: Restricted.
Careful Observance (Age 26 -4 weeks)
>>Flintlocke observed a skirmish in his new home. A squad of Arbites had gone on patrol deep into a gang's territory, and so they'd come out in force. It was a one-sided fight, despite the grievous casualties the Arbites inflicted before calling a tactical retreat. The gangers, youngbloods mostly, were so eager to give chase that they didn't immiediately loot the Arbite's bodies. As they gave chase, he sprinted to scavenge something, anything; with no time to thoroughly search, he grabbed the arbite's fallen weapon. Retreating back just before the gangers returned,
he examined newfound Lascarbine.
